OPTIMIZING ENERGY CONSUMPTION

We recommend energy efficiency-enhancing investments to our clients the return time of which is less than two years in most cases. We assess the consumption points and plan how to reduce energy consumption. We only design and implement such solutions with the introduction of which the quality of the working environment and productivity will remain at least at the same level or will increase, while operating profits will clearly grow. In addition to reducing energy consumption, we also provide our partners low energy prices and a flexible customer service that conveys real values.

ENERGY AUDIT, METHODOLOGY

Audit to assess full potential for energy saving, installation of pilot-systems to measure savings

The audit starts with a meeting with the management to review the company’s main technological processes and determine problem areas. We put forward a proposal on the scope of the audit after an on-site visit and expert involvement. The designing and installation of the metering system will take place after the acquisition and conciliation of data.  The results of reproducible measurements are evaluated together with the expert level. The audit report, conciliated with the experts and to be submitted to the management, includes project proposals on exploitable energy-saving opportunities and potential business parameters.  Our business proposals include the detailed investment requirements, maintenance costs and quantified benefits.

LIGHTING SYSTEMS

the design and implementation of more efficient lighting solutions with flexible financial schemes

The key to the energy efficiency of lighting systems is the luminous efficacy (lm/W). Operating costs can be reduced by providing the necessary lighting with the least possible electric energy consumption.  The “light source-luminaire-operating voltage” combinations relevant to the solution of the given task are examined in the light technology university lab of our partner. We offer such energy-efficient solutions backed by measurements that ensure the reduction of energy consumption projected to the full lifetime. From the establishment of new, turnkey systems, to the exchange of luminaire groups, or retrofit solutions we always find the way that operates with the least possible electric energy consumption.

ELECTRICAL DRIVES

Intelligent power optimization tailored for the job

Electric motors are relatively cheap, simple, low-maintenance machines, and they operate in an environmentally friendly way at the place of usage. It is also known that their operation efficiency is at the maximum at nominal capacity output.
However, there are a number of industrial applications (injection moulding machines, grinders, shredders, conveyors) where the electric engine load can be below 70% in a substantial part of the operation time.  Engine efficiency decreases to a great extent in such a range of operation. The intelligent ECU installed by us provides a solution to these problems.  The ECU continuously monitors the load and controls power consumption dynamically ensuring the realisation of possible energy saving.

TRANSFORMERS

Energy saving begins at the entry point

Based on our systematic engineering methods, examination of energy-saving possibilities begins at this point. At what voltage does the firm take up electric energy, who owns the transformer and in what condition is it? There could be up to a 30% difference of efficiency between a 30-year-old oil-cooled transformer and the low loss transformer installed by us.

COMPRESSORS

Use electric energy applied to produce compressed air for heating or DHW production

The energy used by screw compressors to compress air turns into heat according to the laws of thermodynamics. In practice 70% of the electric energy generated to produce compressed air can be recovered cost efficiently in the form of heat even in the case of older screw compressors that do not have a waste heat recovery unit.

CONVERSION OF
ENERGY TYPES

Design of the most cost-effective energy mix

Energy transformation means the conversion of one form of energy into another one. Our experts assess the quantity and type of primary and secondary energy in the technological processes used by the client. Based on the assessment and current energy supplies we determine the most cost-effective energy mix and make a proposal for the installation of the necessary equipment. When drawing up the proposal we pay particular attention to the investment return period as well as examination of the possibility of providing the needed energy from economical renewable energy sources.

WASTE HEAT RECOVERY

Previously lost energy put to work

We prepare an energy balance for our clients concerning their technological systems, analyse the amount of PTO (power take off), outgoing and utilised energy, and explore losses.  Taking into consideration individual client needs we draw up solutions for the utilization of the heat content of flue gases optimized for the given technology. Simplicity and high efficiency are the characteristic features of our solutions. They can be adapted to power units from 100kW to 10MW and do not cause interferences with existing technological processes.

HVAC

Coordination of heating, ventilation and air conditioning

Air conditioning systems used in old industrial halls may fulfil their technical tasks completely, but are they doing so in an environmentally friendly and energy-efficient way?  Following a full scale assessment carried out by our experts an audit report is drawn up concerning the efficiency of the existing HVAC equipment, and suggestions are made as to their cost-effective replacement.

COGENERATION

Simultaneous heat and electricity production

The combined production of heat and electricity through cogeneration needs less primary energy than the separate production of these forms of energy. In the case of clients with significant electricity and process heat demand, our experts examine the possibility of the economical introduction of cogeneration considering the optimal size and number of equipment based on previous and future energy needs.

OPERATION OF
ENERGY
SYSTEMS

Expert operation of planned and executed installations

In the case of energy installations designed and implemented by us we are ready to provide for their professional operation on the basis of a service level agreement. When drawing up the SLA special attention is paid to the precise definition of the quality and content of the service requested by the client, as well as to its measurability and predictability.
